The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) provides the public with access to government documents and records. The Village of Bloomingdale is committed to open and honest government and increased government transparency and public accountability.

The following FOIA Officers are responsible for receiving FOIA requests for public records from the public and to provide a response in compliance with FOIA.

Police Records

All requests of records processed and maintained by the Police Records Division should be directed to:

All other requests for Village records (including Police Pension Fund, and Fire and Police Commission Records) should be directed to:

Fire Records

Requests for Fire related records should be directed to the Bloomingdale Fire Protection District, which is a separate governmental entity.
