Safely Disposing of Medications
Expired or unused medications are a risk to families, the community and the environment. Disposing of prescription and over-the-counter drugs down a drain can contaminate public water supplies and waterways. Removing expired and unused drugs from our homes reduces accidental ingestion by children and reduces teen prescription drug abuse.
