Lake Street Corridor
Located in the northwest sector, near the Bloomingdale Road intersection are 2 recently constructed office buildings. There is 1 medical building, and Century 21. At the Rosedale Intersection, a longstanding "community eyesore" was annexed to the Village in 2006, and was redeveloped into the 2-story 14,000 square-foott Old Town Bank and Trust, which complements the village's Old Town architectural theme.
Apartment Buildings
Although not an office project, Alden Realty his nearing completion on 83 units of apartment homes for seniors which will be located across the street from the bank. Both of these developments, part of the Westgate Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District, provide a substantial improvement to the street scape at that portion of Lake Street.
Chamber of Commerce
Located in the southwest sector, in the heart of Old Town, is the recently renovated Old School House. It is home to the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, followed by the recently constructed Nucci Optometrist, Alden Valley Senior Apartments, Midwest Bank, and several professional offices.
Bloomingdale Road
South of Schick Road, are several new buildings including Amvest Development. There are two 10,000 square foot office condominiums, and a 14,000 square-foot professional building called Kirkby-Phelan.
