Building & Engineering Codes, Forms, Standards & Maps
The Building & Zoning Division provides for the health, safety and welfare of the residents and future residents of the Village of Bloomingdale by assuring compliance with the Zoning Ordinance; the Building, Plumbing and Electrical Codes, Construction and Accessibility Standards and all other Building & Zoning related ordinances. Compliance is effected through a fair and impartial enforcement of all Village Codes, Standards and Ordinances. 
The Engineering Division manages Village infrastructure projects, inspection of private development, engineering studies, budget planning, coordination of work with the public, other regulatory agencies and other Village Departments. Projects include street reconstruction and overlay, water and wastewater improvements, sidewalk construction, street lighting, special service areas, storm management, bicycle path planning and others. Private Developments include both Residential Subdivision and Commercial Site Plan reviews.
