Lake Street Corridor
Located in the northwest sector, near the Bloomingdale Road intersection are two recently constructed office buildings,one medical building, and Century 21. At the Rosedale Intersection, a longstanding "community eyesore" was annexed to the Village in 2006, and waswas redeveloped into the two-story 14,000 sf Old Town Bank and Trust which complements the Village's Old Town architectural theme. Although not an office project, Alden Realty his nearing completion on 83 units of apartment homes for seniors which will be located across the street from the bank. Both of these developments, part of the Westgate Tax Increment Financing District, provide a substantial improvement to the streetscape at that portion of Lake Street.
Located in the southwest sector, in the heart of Old Town, is the recently renovated Old School House, home to the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, followed by the recently constructed Nuccio Optometrist, Alden Valley Senior Apartments, Midwest Bank, and several professional offices.
Bloomingdale Road
South of Schick Road, are several new buildings Amvest Development, two 10,000 square foot office condominiums, and Kirkby-Phelan a 14,000 sf Professional Building.
