Bloomingdale Public Library

The Bloomingdale Public Library has a rich history of progressive thinking and community involvement. From 30 years ago when the Library opened in two mobile classrooms, to today's impressive state-of-the-art facility.

Bloomingdale Park District

The Bloomingdale Park District manages 127 acres of developed parks, 37 acres of open space and wetlands, a recreation center, walking track, and the Oasis Swimming Pool.

Bloomingdale Area Schools

Bloomingdale's school-age children attend one of five elementary school districts, and one of three high schools.

Community Resources

Bloomingdale is blessed with an abundance of opportunities for community involvement, including but not limited to churches, civic organizations, senior and youth groups.

Building, Zoning & Engineering

Building & Zoning and Engineering are divisions of the Department of Village Services that provide essential services related for new development and existing facilities.

Public Works & Utilities

The Public Works Division maintains Village streets, sidewalks, right-of-ways, urban forest, Village buildings, etc. The Utilities Division operates and maintains the water and sewer infrastructure of the Village.
