Bloomingdale Area Churches

There are numerous churches of varying denominations in the Bloomingdale area. Resident have over 30 clubs, organizations and civic groupsto stay actively involved inthe community. Bloomingdale offers an array of youth, senior, and other social services and volunteer opportunities through the local township offices and other Village and County programs.

Bloomingdale Area Schools

Bloomingdale's school-age children attend one of five elementary school districts, and one of three high schools.

Bloomingdale Park District

The Bloomingdale Park District manages 127 acres of developed parks, 37 acres of open space and wetlands, a recreation center, walking track, and the Oasis Swimming Pool.

Bloomingdale Public Library

The Bloomingdale Public Library has a rich history of progressive thinking and community involvement. From 30 years ago when the Library opened in two mobile classrooms, to today's impressive state-of-the-art facility.

Senior Services

An array of services are available to Bloomingdale Seniors to assist with daily needs, and to afford recreational outlets. Services and programs are offered by the Bloomingdale Township Senior Center, Bloomingdale Police Department, DuPage County Senior Services, and the DuPage Center for Independent Living, to name a few.
