RxBox - Dispose of Unused & Expired Medication Safely

An Rx Box for expired or unused medications is located behind Village Hall and in front of the Bloomingdale Police Department, 201 S. Bloomingdale Road.  Proper disposal of unused medications reduces the risk of accidental poisoning by children, teen drug abuse, and the contamination of public water supplies. Composting

Why not give composting a try?

Bloomingdale encourages all residents to compost their grass clippings & leaves. Composting grass clippings and leaves, not only saves money on yard waste bags and stickers, it produces a rich nutrient excellent for mulching applications to enhance your landscape. For more information on composting (click here)

Try Using a Rain Barrel

Conserve tap water use, reduce your water bill and stormwater run-off by installing a rain barrel.

No Dumping – Keep Our Waterways Clean

Anything dumped into a storm water inlet will eventually discharge into a natural waterway, endangering our environment.
