Village Services

The Village Services Department is created as an executive branch of the Village Government by Ordinance. The Department consists of 56 full-time employees. The Village Services Department under the direction of the Director of Village Services is organized into four (4) functional Divisions.

Mission & Purpose

It is the Village Services Department's mission to provide the highest level of service to the residents of Bloomingdale.

Engineering

The Engineering Division manages the Village infrastructure projects, inspections of private development, coordination of work with the public and much more.

Public Works Maintenance Division

The Public Works Maintenance Division is responsible for the maintenance of Village streets, sidewalks, right-of-ways, urban forest, Village buildings, equipment, etc.

Utilities Division

The Utilities Division operates and maintains the Water and Sewer Infrastructures of the Village.
