Emergency Preparedness

Emergency Preparedness

Being prepared for emergencies is crucial at home, school, work and in your community. Disaster can strike quickly and without warning, forcing you to evacuate or confine you to your neighborhood, workplace, or school. What would you do if basic utility services were cut off? Local relief workers will eventually arrive on the scene; however, they can't reach everyone right away. The best way to make you and your family safer is to be prepared before a disaster strikes.

For information on what to do Before, During and after a natural or man made disaster, check out the Ready Illinois web site, or DuPage County Emergency Preparedness site.
