The Bloomingdale Police Department has a strength of 49 sworn Police Officers and 22 civilian support personnel. The department is comprised of three divisions -- Operations, Administrative Services and Criminal Investigations/Youth.

Mission Statement

The mission of every member of the Bloomingdale Police Department is to consistently seek and find ways to affirmatively promote, preserve and deliver a feeling of security, safety and quality services to members of our community.

Hours of Operation

Bloomingdale Police Department patrol officers are available to the public 24 hours a day. For calls or services requiring police response, persons should dial 9-1-1 (TDD and voice). For information, general assistance, and for services which require no police response, persons should dial (630) 529-9868 (voice only). Detectives are available and assist patrol personnel as needed, and at least one investigator is on-call at anytime throughout the year. The Records section, which provides general information, copies of police reports, information concerning parking citations, etc., is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. (midnight), and on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
