Join the festivities at the 41st annual Septemberfest located in the Old Town area near the corner of Bloomingdale Road and Lake Street (Rt. 20), on Saturday, Sept. 6. It all begins as the annual parade kicks off at 11:00 a.m. Surrounding Old Town Park and
lining Third and Franklin streets, are nearly 90 booths to visit, 15 of them food booths.
Opening ceremonies begin at noon, followed by a variety of local and professional talent on stage throughout the afternoon; including Sean from America's Got Talent at 1 p.m. Deejay Tony DeAdam will keep things hopping until 6 p.m. Also featured are Private Instigators, performing1950's doo-wop flavor with a new age punk twist at 3 p.m. and Caozz, performing all your favorites from Matchbox 20, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Bon Jovi and more at 4:30 p.m. From 7 - 10 p.m. Infinity will cap off the day with a Tribute to Journey.
Along with Saturday's day-long events in Old Town Park, a family carnival featuring several kiddie rides and games, is open from Noon-10 p.m. in St. Paul's parking lot on the east side of Bloomingdale Road. Enjoy a preview of this new family-focused addition to the Septemberfest festivities for a Pay-one-price of $15 per person for unlimited rides from 6 - 10 p.m. on Friday, September 5.
