The Neighborhood Watch Program is a cooperative effort between the residents of Bloomingdale and the Bloomingdale Police Department designed to build a working relationship to help reduce the opportunity factor of crime in neighborhoods.
Residents & the Police Department
The program began in Bloomingdale in 1984 and solicits residents to act as "extra eyes and ears" for the Police Department by watching for and reporting suspicious persons and activities. Awareness and involvement are the keys to a successful Neighborhood Watch Program. If you are interested in participating in the program, please contact the Police Department at 630-529-9868.
All residents are welcome to attend meetings which provide a different informative presentation every other month, the neighborhood watch also offers bimonthly newsletters for the community.
