Charitable door-to-door solicitors must notify the Police Department and provide the dates and name of charity for the solicitation and submit an application (PDF)

Roadway solicitation is for charitable organizations only. There is a limit of a 2 day period once per year on roadway intersections. Approval of intersections is dependent on construction or other possible hazards. Due to safety concerns, roadway solicitation cannot be at the following intersections:
- Army Trail and Glen Ellyn Road
- Army Trail and Schmale Road
- Medinah Road and Lake Street
- Lake Street and Bloomingdale Road

The application (PDF)
for roadway solicitation shall be turned into the Village of Bloomingdale Administrative Office. Along with the application shall be the Attorney General written statement that the organization is in compliance with "An Act to Regulate Solicitation and Collection of Funds for Charitable Purposes," 225 ILCS 460/2, and certificate of insurance for Personal Injury $500,000 per person $1,000,000 per occurrence and Property Damage $100,000.
