The Bloomingdale Police Department Evidence Technician Unit is comprised of sworn police officers within the agency that in addition to their regular duties are called on to document and process crime scenes. Officers trained in evidence work are given extensive training in many areas, such as:

Purpose of the Unit
This unit is on call 24-hours a day and is comprised of 1 supervisor and 7 sworn officers. The high level of training and experience of the members of this unit provides high quality service to the community by documenting crime scenes for criminal prosecution purposes.
