    The village contracts with Republic Services for the curbside collection of household refuse, yard waste, and recyclable materials for all single-family attached and detached units.

    The village contracts with Republic Services for the curbside collection of recycling for all single-family attached and detached units.

  3. Residential Yard Waste Collection

    Yard waste collection starts of the 1st collection day in April and ends on the last collection week in November.

  4. RxBox for Used Medicine

    The Bloomingdale Police Department and DuPage County Health Department have joined forces in this expired / unused medicine.

  1. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)

    Residents and small businesses are encouraged to safely dispose of their HHW at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) licensed regional facility at Naperville Fire Station 4.

  2. Think Before You Flush

    Many items marketed as disposable and/or flushable do not degrade like toilet paper, and they wind up clogging pipes and tangling pumps, resulting in messy sewer backups that can spill onto the street, or into businesses and homes.

  3. Holiday Collection

    Residential curbside refuse, yard waste, and recyclable collection services will be delayed by 1 day on the following recognized holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

  4. Street Sweeping

    The village provides street sweeping services through a private contractor periodically throughout the year.
